Mata-ni-Pachedi

I first met Sanjay Manubhai Chitara (b. 1978) when he had brought examples of his work to show the participants of the HAT lab at Arts reverie. Sanjay exhibits his work at the LOFT in Mumbai with Anupa Gupta one of the co-owners of Arts Reverie.

He has also been a previous participant in one of the earlier HAT cultural exchanges and there are examples of his work around Arts Reverie both in the building and outside.

Sanjay comes from a family of national craft award winners -for  'mata ni pachedi'.
The family also run a block printing business.
